Queen Elizabeth School joins the Polar network with a 50kW Ultracharge and 7kW Fastcharge installed on site.
As part of our continued expansion of the Polar network, a new Ultracharge rapid charger and a 7kW Fastcharge unit have been installed alongside each other at Queen Elizabeth School in Wimborne.
Available on both Polar Plus and the Polar Instant app, the site is sure to be a popular location for charging with the combination of a 50kW Ultracharge and a 7kW Fastcharge offering additional options for drivers looking for a quick stop before continuing their journey, as well as drivers looking for a place to park up and take advantage of the site’s facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Leisure Centre.
The Ultracharge rapid charger offers 3 built-in charging cables, including CHAdeMo, CCS and Type, catering to multiple vehicle models, and the Fastcharge unit offers 2 Type 2 sockets for drivers using their own charging cable.
One of the newest sites to join the charging network, the units will benefit many electric vehicle (EV) drivers in a previously remote of EV charging.
